Myofascial Release

‘Myo’     means     muscle     and     ‘Facial’     means     band.     Our muscles,     ligaments,     bones,     tissues     and     organs     are surrounded   by   fascia   and   can   become   restricted,   resulting in chronic pain, tightness and sensitivity.   The   class   will   help   you   to   understand   how   to   apply   the right    pressure    with    specific    techniques    that    have    been proven   to   make   a   substantial   difference   to   our   movement patterns. Sitting   for   long   hours   or   being   less   mobile   can   leave   the fascia stuck and immobile creating a feeling of stiffness. The   myofascial   balls   have   the   right   amount   of   pressure   to help    get    the    fascia    moving    again.        Too    much    force    on something    that    is    tight    and    painful    will    result    in    more tension aggravating the area further. The   class   will   teach   you   how   to   gradually   unravel   the   tight restricted   area’s   working   into   the   whole   body   promoting efficient tension free movement.
